{"id":6511,"date":"2008-03-21T08:50:51","date_gmt":"2008-03-21T08:50:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/powershell\/2008\/03\/21\/vmware-powershell-based-toolkit-now-in-beta\/"},"modified":"2019-02-18T13:16:07","modified_gmt":"2019-02-18T20:16:07","slug":"vmware-powershell-based-toolkit-now-in-beta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/powershell\/vmware-powershell-based-toolkit-now-in-beta\/","title":{"rendered":"VMware PowerShell-Based Toolkit now in Beta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow &#8211; it&#8217;s great to see VMware going to town with PowerShell.&#160; They have now released a beta of their VMware Infrastrucure (VI) toolkit which contains 102 PowerShell Cmdlets.&#160; They have also set up a community Website.&#160;&#160; <\/p>\n<p>In searching for some details I discovered that they have set up a distinct blog for PowerShell at their website <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.vmware.com\/vipowershell\/\">HER<\/a>E.&#160; It has some good examples of the sort of things you&#8217;ll be able to do with the cmdlets.
