{"id":6161,"date":"2008-05-15T11:50:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-15T11:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/powershell\/2008\/05\/15\/powershell-on-ws08-server-core\/"},"modified":"2019-02-18T13:15:56","modified_gmt":"2019-02-18T20:15:56","slug":"powershell-on-ws08-server-core","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/powershell\/powershell-on-ws08-server-core\/","title":{"rendered":"PowerShell on WS08 Server Core!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Superstar Dmitry Sotnikov has done the world a great service today by documenting how to&nbsp;get PowerShell running on WS08 Server Core <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/dmitrysotnikov.wordpress.com\/2008\/05\/15\/powershell-on-server-core\/\">HERE<\/a>.&nbsp; Just to be clear, this is&nbsp; not a MSFT supported configuration.&nbsp; That does NOT mean that we think it won&#8217;t work.&nbsp; What it means is that if it doesn&#8217;t, you have to leverage the community to help you figure it out instead of Microsoft support.
