In addition this release contains a number of bug fixes and community contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to all the many community contributors whose efforts make releases such as these possible!<\/p>\n<h2>Updates in the Fall Release<\/h2>\n<p>Note that these updates all shipped in our preview channel\nfor VS Code before shipping in our stable channel.<\/p>\n<p>Some highlights of the fall release:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stop hiding Activity Bar in ISE Mode.<\/li>\n<li>Fix race condition with displaying PowerShell name on icon.<\/li>\n<li>Support <code>~<\/code>, <code>.\/<\/code> and named workspace folders in <code>cwd<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance <code>additionalPowerShellExes<\/code> setting.<\/li>\n<li>Add <code>startLocation<\/code> setting for Extension Terminal. (Thanks @krishankanumuri!)<\/li>\n<li>Upgrade bundled PSReadLine module to v2.3.4.<\/li>\n<li>Add <code>None<\/code> to <code>PsesLogLevel<\/code> enum.<\/li>\n<li>Fix debugging script blocks that aren&#8217;t in files.<\/li>\n<li>Fix shell integration for PowerShell 5.1 with strict mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the full list of changes please refer to our <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/PowerShell\/vscode-powershell\/blob\/main\/CHANGELOG.md\">changelog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this release we also updated our versioning schema. The middle version number no longer corresponds to the month, but is simply incremented.
