PowerShellGet is an exciting new feature releasing in WMF 5.0 Preview<\/a>.  With it, you can easily discover, install, update, and publish PowerShell modules to and from online repositories – simplifying the process of sharing PowerShell content.<\/p>\n

While we’ve talked about how to set up<\/a> your own repository in the past, we haven’t said much about PowerShellGet’s default Gallery.  When you run Find-Module, you may have noticed that it automatically searches a “PSGallery” repository.  You may have wondered, “what exactly is this PSGallery repository?”<\/p>\n

Today, we are pleased to formally announce the PowerShell Gallery Preview<\/a>, located at https:\/\/www.powershellgallery.com\/<\/a>.  On the Gallery website, you can browse through the available modules available, and learn about PowerShellGet and the PowerShell Gallery on the Getting Started<\/a> page.  Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.<\/p>\n

Publishing to this Gallery is limited to an invitation only audience during this preview period.  <\/p>\n
