These packages replace previously released WMF 5.0 RTM packages and WMF 5.0 Production Preview packages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><em><strong>Important Note:<\/strong><\/em> For systems running Windows 7 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, you\u2019ll need <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=40855\">WMF 4.0<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/5a4x27ek.aspx\">.NET Framework 4.5 or\u00a0higher<\/a> installed to run WMF 5.0.<\/p>\n<p>We want to extend our sincere thanks to the PowerShell Community for your continued patience and support while we were addressing the <a href=\"https:\/\/windowsserver.uservoice.com\/forums\/301869-powershell\/suggestions\/11148471-bug-wmf5-rtm-psmodulepath\">PSModulePath issue<\/a> found in the previously released WMF 5.0 RTM packages.<\/p>\n<p>To learn about the new features and improvements in WMF 5.0 RTM, please <a href=\"https:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/powershell\/wmf\/releasenotes\">refer to<\/a> (and <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/PowerShell\/PowerShell-Docs\/tree\/master\/wmf\">contribute to<\/a>) the WMF 5.0 release notes.<\/p>\n<p>Please continue to provide feedback via our <a href=\"http:\/\/windowsserver.uservoice.com\/forums\/301869-powershell\">new UserVoice<\/a> site.<\/p>\n<h5>Changes in the republished packages<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The KB numbers of these packages (KB3134758, KB3134759, and KB3134760) are different than previously released WMF 5.0 RTM packages (KB3094174, KB3094175, and KB3094176).<\/li>\n<li>These packages have fixes only for the <a href=\"https:\/\/windowsserver.uservoice.com\/forums\/301869-powershell\/suggestions\/11148471-bug-wmf5-rtm-psmodulepath\">PSModulePath issue<\/a> compared to the previously released WMF 5.0 RTM packages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Uninstall previously released WMF 5.0 RTM packages<\/h5>\n<p>You must uninstall previously released WMF 5.0 RTM (KB3094174, KB3094175, and KB3094176) packages.<\/p>\n<h5>No impact to Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview builds<\/h5>\n<p>Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 Technical Previews builds are not impacted by the above mentioned PSModulePath issue.
