The ostensible reason was that the addition of newer healthier  options didn&#8217;t leave room on the menu for &#8220;Super Size&#8221;.\n  This was of course laughable on its face.\n  Now it&#8217;s even more laughable,  because it turns out that  <a href=\"http:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2004\/WORLD\/europe\/03\/09\/mcdonalds.salad.reut\/index.html\">  the so-called &#8220;healthy&#8221; options are even fattier than the burgers<\/a>.  You can see for yourself on McDonalds&#8217; own  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcdonalds.co.uk\/ourfood\/asp\/FF_interactive.asp?bx=4&amp;it=14\">  Interactive Nutrition Counter<\/a>.
