I was particularly fascinated by his description of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.englishcut.com\/archives\/000126.html\"> how to recognise the work of Anderson &amp; Sheppard<\/a> by inspecting the pockets. It is this attention to detail that really makes the difference between good and great. I like to think that every now and then one of my own essays, say on <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/oldnewthing\/archive\/2003\/07\/25\/54582.aspx\"> the fine details of scroll bars<\/a> or on supporting <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/oldnewthing\/archive\/2005\/08\/04\/447654.aspx\"> double-clicked radio buttons<\/a>, also helped someone raise the quality of their software from good to great. <\/p>\n<p> Mr.&nbsp;Mahon&#8217;s partner in crime is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gapingvoid.com\/\">Hugh Macleod<\/a> who points out that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gapingvoid.com\/Moveable_Type\/archives\/001943.html\"> the blog is the main driver of new business<\/a>. Remember that the next time somebody tries to start a marketing blog.
