I take issue with some of the definitions, but they are generally accurate.)\n In addition to the rather extensive use of the word &#8220;so&#8221; as an introductory particle, another peculiarity of Microspeak is the unusually frequent use of the word &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/techtalk\/archive\/2005\/11\/16\/493549.aspx\">super<\/a>&#8221; as an intensifier, particular when used in the phrase &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/somasegar\/archive\/2005\/08\/26\/456959.aspx\">super<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/brada\/archive\/2005\/08\/29\/CLRPDCPanelAsk.aspx\"> excited<\/a>&#8220;.\n Today&#8217;s contribution to the lexicon:<\/p>\n<p> <b>Bake<\/b> &#8211; (of a code change) to build confidence by observing its behavior over a period of time. &#8220;The fix seems to be working in our branch but I want to let it bake another few weeks before we <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/larryosterman\/archive\/2005\/02\/01\/364840.aspx\"> RI<\/a>.&#8221; <em>Related<\/em>: &#8220;Bake time&#8221; &#8211; the time spent baking. &#8220;Fully-baked&#8221; &#8211; ready for distribution to a larger group. <em>Etymology<\/em>: Possibly influenced by &#8220;half-baked&#8221;. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microspeak has its own lexicon.
