\n\nFor<\/a>\n\nmany<\/a>\n\nyears<\/a>,\nI’ve\n\nput together<\/a>\na\n\nlittle pocket guide<\/a>\n\nto the Seattle Symphony<\/a>\n\nsubscription<\/a>\n\nseason<\/a>\nfor my symphony friends to help them decide which\nticket package they want.\nFor a few years now, we haven’t ordered any tickets at all\nbecause we all have young children,\nbut I still make this guide out of some sense of obligation.\n<\/p>\n

\nSo here’s the\nat-a-glance season guide for the 2014\/2015 season anyway,\nagain with no comments from me because nobody I know is going\nto use them to decide which tickets to order.\nBesides, you can probably preview nearly all of the pieces\nnowadays\n(minus the premieres) by searching on YouTube.\n<\/p>\n

\nFor those not familiar with the Seattle Symphony ticket package line-ups:\nMost of the ticket packages are named Masterworks nX<\/i> where\nn<\/i> is\nthe number is the number of concerts in the package, and the letter\nindicates which variation.\nTicket packages have been combined if they are\nidentical save for the day of the week.\nFor example, 7C and 7D are the same concerts;\nthe only difference is that 7C is for Thursday nights, while 7D is\nfor Saturday nights.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe WolfGang<\/i> series is available only to members of the\n\nWolfGang club<\/a>.\nIt also includes one concert not listed in the chart above:\nThe Movie Music of John Williams<\/i>.\n<\/p>\n

\nThis chart doesn’t include concert series such\nas the Mozart Concertos or Distinguished Artists series\nwhich share no concerts with any of the Masterworks concerts.\n<\/p>\n
