In particular, <a title=\"Be careful with that thing, it's a confidential coffee maker\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/oldnewthing\/20220426-00\/?p=106528\"> they struggled with so-called &#8220;security violations<\/a>&#8220;. I noted that one such category of security violation was &#8220;wearing shorts to work.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bearing this in mind, you may appreciate this brief incident.<\/p>\n<p>One of the Microsoft developers beeped his badge to enter the building while wearing his usual shorts and sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>An IBM employee sarcastically asked, &#8220;Dressed a bit casually today, huh?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Microsoft employee replied, &#8220;Oh no.
