Igen.\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/oldnewthing\/20121217-01\/?p=5813\"> being burnt down by vandals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, <a title=\"In 2023, the G\u00e4vle Goat faces a new threat to its survival\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/oldnewthing\/20231218-01\/?p=109166\"> the G\u00e4vle Goat was eaten by jackdaws<\/a> who feasted on the unusually high seed content in that year&#8217;s straw harvest. But fortunately, in 2024, the goat survived, bringing its survival rate for the 2020&#8217;s to 3\/5. It looked like it was doing fairly well, at least by G\u00e4vle Goat standards.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, in 2025, the goat succumbed again. But it wasn&#8217;t fire or birds that did in the goat.
