Also yes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6E_FwOz_RtM\"> Pangeos Terayacht: An $8 billion Engineering Disaster<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AdamSomething\">Adam Something<\/a> rips the Pangeos Terayacht (which somehow had 15 minutes of fame) to shreds.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/Stellarium\/stellarium-web-engine\"> Stellarium Web Engine<\/a> is an open-source JavaScript planetarium library. <a href=\"https:\/\/stellarium-web.org\/\">You can play with it online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/profmattstrassler.com\/2024\/01\/16\/the-value-of-check-it-yourself-science\/\"> The Value of Check-It-Yourself Science<\/a>. Theoretical physicist <a href=\"https:\/\/profmattstrassler.com\/\">Matt Strassler<\/a> provides several examples of how you can confirm various facts about the solar system by using direct observation and high school mathematics. For example, he <a href=\"https:\/\/profmattstrassler.com\/2024\/02\/09\/estimating-the-distance-to-jupiter-in-my-backyard\/\"> estimates the distance to Jupiter using his eyes, a protractor, and a pocket calculator<\/a>, and in a similar fashion <a href=\"https:\/\/profmattstrassler.com\/2024\/01\/23\/how-shooting-stars-measure-the-distance-to-the-sun\/\"> calculates the distance from the earth to the sun<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/english.stackexchange.com\/questions\/395382\/which-word-begins-with-y-and-looks-like-an-axe-in-this-picture\"> What word begins with &#8220;y&#8221; and looks like an axe<\/a>? A deep dive into a children&#8217;s ball.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cohost.org\/cathoderaydude\/post\/1228730-taking-the-deepest-p\"> Taking the deepest possible breath<\/a>: CathodeRayDude investigates Phoenix Hyperspace, a miniature (Linux-based) operating system which runs a small number of programs and which (here&#8217;s the scary part) can live-swap with a running copy of Windows. How did they do this? Maybe you&#8217;re better off not knowing. Oh, who am I kidding.
