It subsequently gained a following, particularly among the <i>Star Trek<\/i> fan community, even earning a place in the voting for &#8220;Best Star Trek movie&#8221;. (It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.startrek.com\/article\/star-trek-las-vegas-2013-day-2-recap\"> came in seventh<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Galaxy Quest is <i>the best<\/i> Star Trek movie.&#8221; \u2014 Wil Wheaton<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Why didn&#8217;t <i>we<\/i> do this?&#8221; \u2014 Brent Spiner<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Brilliant. No one laughed louder or longer in the cinema than I did.&#8221; \u2014 Patrick Stewart<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For the life of me I was trying to understand who he [Tim Allen] was imitating.&#8221; \u2014 William Shatner<\/p>\n<p>(Man, I sure hope Shatner had his tongue firmly planted in his cheek.)<\/p>\n<p>And now there&#8217;s <i>Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sfgg4Wm6xCE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Screening at selected theaters in the United States, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fathomevents.com\/events\/never-surrender\"> for one night only: November 26, 2019<\/a>. The screening includes deleted scenes and a Galaxy Quest trailer by Honest Trailers.<\/p>\n<p><b>Bonus chatter<\/b>: The Longhorn project (which eventually became Windows Vista) famously underwent a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Windows_Vista#Development_reset\"> development reset<\/a>.
