Last month, we announced the\u00a0<\/span>change notification APIs for Microsoft Teams messages<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, we\u2019re\u00a0excited to announce that change notifications for\u00a0Microsoft\u00a0Teams messages are now available for federated scenarios.\u00a0Previously,\u00a0these notifications were not fully available\u00a0which\u00a0impacted\u00a0primarily DLP and compliance archiving partners.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Change notifications\u00a0will\u00a0be sent\u00a0when conversations are across\u00a0multiple federated tenants.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Compliance archiving\u00a0<\/span>partners can use the change notifications for archival and Data Loss Prevention partners can listen to their chat messages in real time.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Using Microsoft Graph subscriptions,\u00a0federated\u00a0users can subscribe to messages in\u00a01:1 or group chats\u00a0and meetings. They can hear new messages, replies, edits, reactions, and deletes. With\u202f@mention and specific text filters, they can\u202freceive notifications\u202fin chat matching the filtering criteria.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
