data-contrast=\"auto\">Given the demand from our community, we&#8217;re pleased to announce the\u00a0beta\u00a0release of\u00a0the import\u00a0capabilities.\u00a0 These new capabilities\u00a0give you the ability to import channel messages into a new team, specify the message sender and timestamp\u00a0and\u00a0link to files.\u00a0These capabilities are\u00a0built with scale in mind.\u00a0At a high data-contrast=\"auto\"> Import external back-in-time dated\u00a0messages<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Complete the team and channel migration\u00a0process<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Add team\u00a0members<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Requirements before\u00a0starting to use the\u00a0new Import API\u00a0are:<\/span><span data from the third-party chat system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Map the third-party chat structure to the Teams structure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Convert import data into format needed for migration.<\/span><span
