We\u2019re deprecating the previewImageUrl <\/strong><\/span>property in the<\/span>\u00a0resourceVisualization<\/a> complex type for Insights items<\/a>\u00a0where the referenced resource is a file attachment (<\/span>resourceReference.type<\/span><\/code>\u00a0= <\/span>fileAttachment<\/span><\/code>). This affects responses from the Insights List shared<\/a>\u00a0and Insights List used<\/a>\u00a0APIs when the underlying resource is an email attachment.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s changing and why<\/h2>\n

The previewImageUrl<\/strong> property is no longer returned for file attachment items. File attachments don\u2019t have a consistent preview experience across Microsoft 365, so removing this property simplifies the API and aligns it with supported preview scenarios. Items that reference cloud files (like driveItem<\/strong>) aren’t impacted.<\/p>\n
