Each year we receive hundreds of nominations for the Office App Awards since the awards celebrate the top apps and add-ins that help customize the productivity experience for Office users. Nearly two thousand apps are available to Office users in the AppSource<\/a> marketplace and Microsoft judges reviewed these apps for how well they integrate with and leverage the power of the Office platform and their ability to enhance the Office user and business productivity. The criteria used for judging was – the ability to enhance organizational and individual productivity, integration and performance, and leveraging the power of the Office platform. We are now excited to bring you the winners of the Office apps that were announced at the Office App Awards event, at Microsoft Ignite Conference, in Orlando this week!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Yesware<\/td>\n  <\/p>\n

Yesware<\/a><\/strong> received the Best Overall Office App award <\/em>for their Outlook integration. Now you can see who opens your emails and clicks on your links, with email tracking analytics. Sell smarter, right from your Inbox and take the guesswork out of email.<\/p>\n

Pickit Free Images<\/a> <\/strong>with free HD images, icons and illustrations to bring your documents and presentation to life won second place and Boomerang<\/a><\/strong> (by Baydin. Inc) for email productivity with Outlook won third place in the Best Overall Office App<\/em> category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Boomerang<\/td>\nBoomerang<\/a><\/strong> also received the Best Business Value <\/em>award. Boomerang optimizes your email productivity, you can schedule emails to send later, track responses, setup meetings, and more! With Boomerang, Outlook and Outlook.com users can easily schedule meetings and send their availability in real-time to contacts directly in an email without navigating to a separate calendar window or tab.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Other winners in the Best Business Value<\/em> category were Smartsheet<\/a><\/strong> for Microsoft Teams and Narratives<\/a><\/strong> (by Narrative Science Inc.) Power BI custom visuals.<\/p>\n

Yesware<\/a><\/strong> also took Best User Experience <\/em>award for its easy to use interface for salespeople that want to close deals faster and emails users that want to get real-time feedback on every message with personalized email outreach and simplified data entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another winner in Best User Experience<\/em> category is MyScript Math Sample<\/a> <\/strong>for Microsoft Word.  My Script Math Sample enables users to handwrite equations directly into a word document, using a stylus, a finger, or even the mouse.  Handwritten ink equations are converted into clean typeset equations that can then be inserted into a Word document.  MyScript also make tools available to developers<\/a> who want to leverage its technology in their projects.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Pixton Comic Characters<\/a><\/strong> for Office 365 also won an award in the Best User Experience<\/em> category.  Pixton Comic Characters makes it possible for anyone to create comics.  The Pixton process is fast, easy and customizable to just about any business scenario, and creates images that make your presentation fun, diverse and professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Jira<\/td>\n\n

 Jira<\/a><\/strong> for Outlook (by yasoon GmbH) won Best Office<\/em> Integration<\/em> award for it’s Jira workflows and Jira Service desk integration with emails. You can create or update, view related issues and create tickets all from within Outlook.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Decisions Meeting Secretary<\/a><\/strong> (by Decisions AS) and Nintex Workflow<\/a><\/strong> for Office 365 were other winners in the Best Office Integration<\/em> category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"harmon.ie<\/td>\nharmon.ie<\/strong> <\/a>for Office won the Best Mobile App<\/em> Award for it’s mobile add-in that helps you save documents to SharePoint and OneDrive for Business, classify documents and edit or reply with your documents as you collaborate with your team.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
\"FlowForma<\/td>\nThis year we received over two thousand responses for the People’s choice award, a category where the users vote for their popular app from a group of highly rated apps. FlowForma BPM<\/a><\/strong> – No Code Business Process Management won the People’s choice award this year with their BPM tool for business power users to quickly and seamlessly build out online processes for workflows with SharePoint.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
