In February 2023, Microsoft Teams introduced a <\/span>new version of Teams webinar<\/span><\/a> that allows for more powerful and controlled registration, additional email capabilities, smooth external presenter capabilities, access control, and more. This will replace the <\/span>initial version of Teams webinar<\/span><\/b> by June 30<\/span><\/b>, 2024.<\/span><\/b> The <\/span>Microsoft<\/span> Graph meeting registration beta APIs that support the initial version are currently being deprecated and will stop returning data on <\/span>July 31<\/span><\/b>, 2024<\/span><\/b>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Microsoft Graph currently provides APIs that support the new version of Teams webinar. These APIs are generally available. APIs for additional scenarios that support Teams webinars are coming soon.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re using the meeting registration APIs, in the next few months, you\u2019ll need to update your solution to use the new Microsoft Graph webinar <\/span>APIs<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>webhooks<\/span><\/a> for your webinar solutions. The new APIs do not extend from the Microsoft Graph online meeting APIs<\/span> the way that the meeting <\/span>r<\/span>egistration APIs do. Instead, they are part of a new Microsoft Graph webinar resource type. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To help you update your solution, the following webinar APIs will be available in <\/span>beta by June 2024<\/span><\/b>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
