New members who set up an instant sandbox were unable to sign in to their Microsoft 365 developer subscription. After setting up an instant sandbox, on sign in, members encountered the following error message.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2023\/10\/Instant-sandbox-error-message.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15551 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2023\/10\/Instant-sandbox-error-message-300x207.png\" alt=\"Image Instant sandbox error message on sign in that states that the user doesn't have permission to access the resource.\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2023\/10\/Instant-sandbox-error-message-300x207.png 300w, https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2023\/10\/Instant-sandbox-error-message.png 648w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This issue has now been resolved. If you set up an instant sandbox after October 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2023, please <strong>reset your admin password<\/strong>. To reset your admin password, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.office.com\/?auth=2\">go to your subscription<\/a>, and on the sign in screen, choose <strong>Forgot my password<\/strong>. Follow the steps to create a new password. Wait for 10 minutes and then sign in again. You should then be able to sign in to your Microsoft 365 developer subscription. If your sign in is unsuccessful, try resetting your admin password again.<\/p>\n<p>Members who set up a configurable sandbox instead of an instant sandbox are not affected by this error.<\/p>\n<p>We apologize for any inconvenience.
