Now, it\u2019s easy for developers to extend <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoftteams\/platform\/tabs\/what-are-tabs\">Teams personal tab apps<\/a> to both Android and iOS app users with a single code base. The result? It\u2019s easier than ever to reach hundreds of millions of Microsoft 365 users across multiple Microsoft apps and devices.<\/p>\n<p>The Microsoft Teams JS SDK v2 was made <a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/microsoft-teams-js-sdk-v2-is-now-generally-available\/\">generally available at Microsoft Build 2022.<\/a> It has helped the developer community build once and deploy easily across Teams, Outlook and Microsoft 365 on web, desktop and mobile.<\/p>\n<h2>Join our Beta program<\/h2>\n<p>You can now run the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoftteams\/platform\/tabs\/what-are-tabs?tabs=desktop\">Teams personal tab apps<\/a> on the Microsoft 365 Beta app on iOS by joining the Apple TestFlight program. Teams apps built using Microsoft Teams JS v2 and Teams App manifest (version 1.13) will start showing up in Microsoft 365 iOS app under the \u201cApps\u201d menu.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To get started, <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/testflight\/id899247664\">install TestFlight<\/a> app on the iOS device that you\u2019ll use for testing.<\/li>\n<li>Provide your Apple ID <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/wf76yw7EZA\">here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>You will receive an email from Apple TestFlight in ~24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>When installing via email invitation, tap \u201cView in TestFlight\u201d or \u201cStart testing\u201d then tap \u201cInstall\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>You will be routed inside TestFlight app where you can get the Microsoft 365 app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Build and run apps on Microsoft 365 iOS app<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>To build a personal tab app and run it on Microsoft 365 iOS app, refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoftteams\/platform\/m365-apps\/overview\">developer documentation<\/a>. Learn more <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/admin\/manage\/test-and-deploy-microsoft-365-apps?view=o365-worldwide#manage-apps-in-the-integrated-apps-portal\">here<\/a> on how a Teams personal tab app can be deployed to Microsoft 365 (Office) hub using the Microsoft Admin Center.<\/p>\n<p>We understand there may be additional management requirements specific to the Microsoft 365 app. You may want to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Only allow specific users in your org to try Teams apps in the Microsoft 365 app, or<\/li>\n<li>Block all users in your org from using Teams apps in the Microsoft 365 app<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can do these using app configuration policy, documented here: <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/mem\/intune\/apps\/manage-microsoft-office#manage-teams-apps-running-on-office-app-for-android\">Manage Office for iOS and Android with Intune | Microsoft Learn<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Share feedback!<\/h2>\n<p>Preview is the perfect time to give us feedback, and we want to hear from you!
