Earlier this year, we shared<\/a> how Priority Matrix by Appfluence leveraged Microsoft Graph connectors with Microsoft Search to increase an organization\u2019s index completeness by extending search to include Microsoft 365 content. As you may remember, Priority Matrix is a solution that leverages many Microsoft Graph endpoints and connectors to integrate with Microsoft Teams and Outlook to help employees focus on high-impact work, increase productivity, and become more efficient.<\/p>\n

Today, we\u2019re advancing the Microsoft 365 integration story by highlighting this partner\u2019s use of Universal Actions for Adaptive Cards<\/a>. Adaptive Cards create rich, interactive, and secure cross-platform experiences for end-users and help safeguard their productivity by enabling contextual actionability.<\/p>\n

The earlier Priority Matrix solution provided feedback to users of upcoming or late tasks in the email body with links redirecting back into the Priority Matrix SaaS application. This led to context-switching for the users. By leveraging Adaptive Cards,<\/strong> users can now interact with and acknowledge upcoming and overdue tasks without switching context<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Priority Matrix\u2019s implementation of Universal Actions for Adaptive Cards enhances user experience by implementing a single Adaptive Card scenario to run seamlessly in both Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Building Universal Actions into their app meant Priority Matrix was able to bring contextual content and actionable buttons to allow users to interact with the task and\/or delegate to another user. If a task involves a group effort, Priority Matrix users are now also able to see the \u2018current state\u2019 of the task in the email, which allows for less context switching.<\/p>\n

Post shipping the Universal Actions integration, Priority Matrix has witnessed a 20% uplift in user activation rate for their scenarios.<\/strong> This substantiates the meaningful impact Adaptive Cards have on our partner scenarios and end-user experiences.<\/p>\n
