Yes, it’s true! Scott’s getting his blue badge and going to work for Scott Guthrie’s org. For me I am of mixed emotions hearing this news. I am happy because Scott is a great addition for Microsoft. He has incredible insight into the developer community and a large loyal following.
Recently two fellow teammates got their blogs up and ruinning. Grigori Melnik is new to the team as Tom Hollander’s replacement. Grigori is no stranger to the agile world being a member of the Agile Alliance and Scrum Alliance. He’s also a published author and a frequent speaker at various software engineering events.
The past month or so our good friend (and my predecessor) Eugenio has been busy developing a Litware HR Smart Client application (LitwareSC) using the SCSF (see screenshot below).
In addition to WPF support, one of the other challenges Eugenio and team faced is creating an application that will function either online of offline.
A while ago, I told you about the new SCSFContrib project. Well since then the SCSFContrib team has been hard at work cracking out the first release. All the extracurricular hours have really paid off and the first version has shipped.
The first weekly community drop of our next release of Web Client is on codeplex! This release contains a set of Reference implementations that we are using to flesh out features. I’ll follow up with more detailed posts as I just returned from a week of being “off the grid”
