Hi, I’m Danny Chen, (2nd from the right, grey shirt, next to Pete).\u00a0 Like Pete, I’m also an SDET for Visual Web Developer.\u00a0 I’ve been at Microsoft for about 1 1\/2 years.\u00a0 Prior to shipping Visual Studio 2005, I was on the QA team for ASP.NET.\u00a0 I really enjoy working with the extensibility features of Visual Studio and ASP.NET whether it’s creating custom controls, extending the built in providers, or working with the add-in model of Visual Studio.<\/p>\n
I’m really looking forward to the next version of Visual Studio.\u00a0 We’re coming up with some really cool features that I can’t wait to use myself.\u00a0 Some of the new ideas that I’ve heard about that I’m hoping for\u00a0are: a split view where you can see the rendering as well as the markup side-by-side.\u00a0 A CSS properties window where you can see all the styles being applied to a particular control. (note: none these ideas are finalized yet so they may not make it to the final product).<\/p>\n
