Microsoft Build 2017<\/h2>\n
The Microsoft Build 2017<\/a> conference is over. Here are some of the announcements and highlights:<\/p>\n And of course, all the sessions are available on Channel 9<\/a>.<\/p>\n Here are the announcements:<\/p>\n And Mono 5<\/a> also shipped!<\/p>\n For the King<\/a> is a fun and unique take on an the classic RPG adventure game genre as it blends strategy, JRPG combat and roguelike elements beautifully. In For the King, you control three adventurers who set out on a journey to help squash the chaos that is rising due to the king being murdered. Each turn, you must make critical strategic decisions that can very easily result in your entire party being wiped out. For the King is intentionally unforgiving as you are expected to learn from your mistakes after each death and come back stronger.<\/p>\n For the King<\/a> was created by IronOak Games using C#<\/a> and Unity<\/a>. It is in early access on Steam<\/a> for Windows and Mac.<\/p>\n The Perth MS Cloud Computing User Group<\/a> is giving an introduction to Docker on Azure on Wednesday, May 17, at 5:00PM in Perth, Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n And this is it for this week!<\/p>\n As always, this weekly post couldn’t exist without community contributions, and I’d like to thank all those who sent links and tips.
