You need to install the .NET Framework to run many apps on Windows, such as tax filing apps and games. The .NET Framework comes from Microsoft and is updated by Windows Update<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/h2>\n

The .NET Framework 4<\/a> can be installed on Windows XP. Most apps that require the .NET Framework require this version. In some cases, you will may need a later update of the .NET Framework. You can install the .NET Framework 4.0.3<\/a> after installing the .NET Framework 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
