Please get hold of us at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/discord.gg\/DirectX\">discord.gg\/DirectX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>DirectX in Gaming<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>We have a new preview Agility SDK out!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 12\/7, we released our <a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/directx\/agility-sdk-1-600-10-minor-bugfix-release\/\">first preview Agility SDK<\/a>, with support for Enhanced Barriers and Video Encode. We also released another SDK right after, containing a bugfix for a raytracing issue. \u00a0As always, please let us know if you have any questions and\/or feedback on the <a href=\"https:\/\/discord.gg\/directx\">DirectX Discord server.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>New graphics features<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kotaku describes new HDR shortcuts as &#8220;a blessing&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new HDR keyboard shortcut and HDR options in Game Bar are getting noticed &#8211; recently Kotaku published <a href=\"https:\/\/kotaku.com\/windows-11s-new-hdr-shortcuts-are-a-blessing-1848037212\">an article<\/a> where they said &#8220;Windows 11&#8217;s New HDR Shortcuts Are A Blessing\u201d, \u201cSuch a tiny change has made such a huge difference&#8221;. This feature directly addresses a top request from users who wanted an easy way to toggle HDR on\/off without having to go through the Display settings.<\/p>\n<p>To try out the HDR keyboard shortcut, press <strong>Win + Alt + B<\/strong>eautiful. <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">You\u2019ll be able to use it if you have Xbox Game Bar app version 5.7121.0 and newer installed on your PC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Xbox Becomes First Platform to Support Dolby Vision for Gaming<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 9\/28, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/2021\/09\/28\/dolby-vision-gaming-now-available-on-xbox-series-x-s\/\">we released support for Dolby Vision on Xbox Series S|X<\/a> for all HDR and AutoHDR titles in the Xbox catalog (including backcompat) providing an enhanced and more tightly uniform visual experience without any performance impact, becoming the first platform to offer this functionality.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Graphics industry news<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>2021 holiday titles are looking great on Xbox<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Check out Digital Foundry\u2019s recent videos on some great games on Series X and S including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fuB2MnG9sCE\">Forza Horizon 5,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ojNFvNcMPsE\">Halo Infinite<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/WghfGVJ5AaI\">Far Cry 6<\/a>. Series S had an awesome holiday as well with a particularly great showing on <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QZBF7Gj0sYU\">Call of Duty Vanguard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Epic The Matrix Awakens demo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Months of collaboration with Epic has turned into an awesome Matrix Awaken demo on Xbox Series X|S. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/digitalfoundry-2021-the-matrix-ue5-demo-is-incredible\">public is loving what the demo<\/a> has showcased. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/digitalfoundry\/status\/1469155159586402305\">&#8220;Welcome to the real world&#8230; or the closest we&#8217;ve seen yet in real-time rendering!
