We got a lot of feedback from our users. You let us know the experience was far from ready. As a result, we buckled down and spent the last 3 months fixing bugs (over 300) and tightening it up. We now think it is ready <strong>again<\/strong> for users to take a look and provide us with more feedback. We are excited to announce the &#8220;official&#8221; public preview of the New Boards Hub!<\/p>\n<h2>How to turn on the \u201cNew Boards Hub\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>The new boards hub will continue to be optional. So, it will still require the user, project, or organization to turn on the feature. To opt-in, simply turn on the \u201cNew boards Hubs\u201d from the <strong>Preview Features<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/03\/turn-on-preview.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/03\/turn-on-preview.gif\" alt=\"Image turn on preview\" width=\"838\" height=\"1080\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-63725\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Should I expect any big changes?<\/h2>\n<p>Functionality wise, nothing has changed. It is still the same Azure Boards. However, you will notice a new modern design, responsive reflows, accessibility compliance, and improved page performance.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/03\/new-boards-hub.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2022\/03\/new-boards-hub.gif\" alt=\"Image new boards hub\" width=\"1582\" height=\"1080\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-63731\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>How do I provide feedback?<\/h2>\n<p>Eventually the \u201cNew Boards Hub\u201d will be the primary and only experience. Your feedback is essential in getting this right. If you have any issues, or if the new experience does not behave like you expect, please <a href=\"mailto:dahellem@microsoft.com\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">contact us<\/a> directly. We need your input!<\/p>\n<h2>Can I turn off the preview?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes of course, if you are experiencing issues and need to go back to the regular boards hub, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/devops\/project\/navigation\/preview-features?view=azure-devops&#038;tabs=new-account-enabled%23enable-features-for-your-use\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">turn off the preview feature<\/a>. If you do turn off the preview, please <a href=\"mailto:dahellem@microsoft.com\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">drop us a message<\/a> and let us know why.<\/p>\n<h2>Next steps<\/h2>\n<p>The public preview will stay opt-in for the next few months. Gathering your input and fixing bugs along the way.
