Advancements in how to streamline your software and operations processes have put power in the hands of developers teams now more than ever. Whether it’s using Infrastructure as Code<\/a> (IaC) or Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment<\/a> pipelines, automation has been proven to help teams deliver faster and more reliably.<\/p>\n

GitOps is another CI\/CD methodology that focuses on a developer-centric experience by using tools that they may already be familiar with, like Git. Created by Alexis Richardson<\/a> of WeaveWorks<\/a>, GitOps focuses on deploying faster and more often by utilizing your version control system to deploy when you’ve merged a commit into your main branch. This allows for easier rollbacks, because everything you’ve modified is tracked within your source control provider, whether using a self-hosted Git repository or popular providers such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.<\/p>\n
