You\u00a0can now orchestrate \u00a0deployments across multiple machines, perform rolling updates whilst ensuring high availability of the application throughout. Agent based deployment\u00a0capability relies on the same build and deployment agents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a Deployment Group?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Deployment group is a logical group of targets (machines) with agents installed on each of them.\u00a0Deployment groups represent your physical environments\u00a0like single box Dev, multi-machine QA or farm of machines for UAT\/Prod.\u00a0They also specify the security context for your physical environments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I get started?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Getting started made easy you can create a new Deployment Group from &#8220;Build &amp; Release&#8221; hub &gt; Deployment Groups. Add the servers to the deployment group just by running a simple cmdlet and you&#8217;re all set to deploy to them.\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/DeploymentGroups.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/05\/DeploymentGroups-1024x502.png\" alt=\"deploymentgroups\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-28255 size-large\" width=\"879\" height=\"431\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>Deploying to multiple machines is now a breeze.\u00a0We have added in-the-box templates for you to get started with deployments You can also tag the servers do a rolling deployments, view live logs for each server<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/05\/DeploymentGroupLog.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/05\/DeploymentGroupLog-1024x504.png\" alt=\"deploymentgrouplog\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-31775 size-large\" width=\"879\" height=\"433\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span>For a complete walk-through of creating your first Deployment Group, see <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/visualstudioalm\/tag\/deployment-groups\/\">the blog post<\/a><span>.
