{"id":1103,"date":"2014-06-04T10:34:37","date_gmt":"2014-06-04T10:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/visualstudioalm\/2014\/06\/04\/visual-studio-2015-preview-now-available-in-the-virtual-machine-azure-gallery\/"},"modified":"2022-07-15T00:11:02","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T08:11:02","slug":"visual-studio-2015-preview-now-available-in-the-virtual-machine-azure-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/devops\/visual-studio-2015-preview-now-available-in-the-virtual-machine-azure-gallery\/","title":{"rendered":"Visual Studio 2015 Preview now available in the Virtual Machine Azure Gallery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Editors Note: Updated the post 4\/29\/2015)<\/p>\n<p>With out a doubt the easiest and fastest way to get started with Visual Studio 2015 Release Candidate is to use the Azure virtual machine image that was also released today.\u00a0 This has gotten to be so mainstream that when we make preview builds available to our <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/b\/bharry\/archive\/2015\/04\/27\/first-tfs-2015-rc-production-upgrade-i-know-of.aspx\">MVPs<\/a> half of them are now choosing virtual machines as their experience of choice.\u00a0\u00a0 Note: If you are using the <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.azure.com\">Azure preview portal<\/a> this Virtual Machine image will be available tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#42;**********************<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As recently as a year ago I couldn\u2019t imagine what I would need cloud based resources for\u2026I had my solid state drives and the process of updating my Team Foundation Server instances down to an art form\u2026.Now i couldn\u2019t imagine my life without my virtual machines in Azure!
