It’s Friday and I am ready for the weekend. Being back into my regular routine of building content and engaging with our community has been great. I am so happy to see that this community doesn’t waste any time and once again comes together to release educational and helpful posts.

A quick shout out to everyone over there in Azure/DevOps and all the great work you are accomplishing. I spent the past week and a half getting up to date with Azure & Azure DevOps and have been floored with how much it has improved over the early days of TFS. I actually got my application posted and available today after 2 full years of development. It’s officially in “pulls data from a database and doesn’t break” status. 🙂
But the configuration and environmental aspects are so much better now. VERY NICE WORK OVER THERE! Identity especially. I am making use of Azure.Identity and I do not think I am storing a single password anywhere. SO VERY NICE. Even better, I was able to get integration between Azure DevOps and EntityFramework migrations and everything was very easy to set up, soooo MUCH easier than I was anticipating as I have had such problems with it in the past.
Anyways, I just had to share my sincere and overflowing appreciation. I feel like I am finally caught up with the rest of developer land now that I have this all set up, and I FINALLY have a deployed application that can be loaded in earnest from anywhere in the world. BRING ON 2022!!!
