Blog Updates

Anisha Pindoria

You may have noticed some updates to the blog today. We’ve made a few changes to better accommodate how readers are using the blog. Over the past year, we’ve seen a lot of growth in the ALM team blog, both in terms of readership as well as the volume of content being posted. While we’re happy to have this increase in information being shared, we’re also hearing that it can become a challenge to navigate the content. To help with this, we’ve added some tabs to better organize categories of content. For example, as a tester I can now click on the “Testing” tab to view the latest test-related posts (as shown below). There is also a corresponding RSS feed available in the top right corner, which you can use to subscribe to this tagged set of posts.

Another thing we found is that it can be hard to keep tabs on announcements, which sometimes get lost between the volume of posts. In order to help with this, we’ve also added a “Highlights” section at the top of the blog, so that it’s easy to stay up-to-date on all the latest news:

Finally, if you were enjoying the existing blog view, and want to be able to easily read all posts, you can still find all this content in the “All” tab which includes all ALM team blog posts (as shown below). Your existing ALM team blog subscriptions will continue to work as well.

We hope you enjoy these changes and look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to evolve the blog, and make it the best place to hear from the ALM team.
