Steven Borg

Steven Borg is the Co-Founder and Strategist of Northwest Cadence. Steven has been a Microsoft ALM MVP since product inception in 2005, speaks regularly at Software Development and Visual Studio conferences, and has authored Microsoft courseware and white papers on Team Foundation Server, regulatory compliance in software development, Scrum, and Lean. Steven has helped hundreds of organizations, both large and small, adopt Visual Studio ALM tools, improving their software development process, reducing costs, increasing quality and speeding delivery dates. His expertise lies in bringing successful lean and agile adoption to companies currently using traditional project management techniques to manage software development projects.

Dan Wood

Dan is a Senior ALM Consultant/Trainer at Northwest Cadence. He has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and has extensive experience as a senior database architect, developer and administrator. He has authored and co-authored several books on SQL Server and the SQL language. In addition to designing and implementing many successful TFS installations, he has consulted and trained organizations of all sizes on end-to-end ALM with Visual Studio. Dan spent 20 years on submarines in the U.S. Navy and has a passion for getting it right the first time. He is currently an ALM consultant with Northwest Cadence; where technology meets teamwork.

Rennie Araucto

Rennie is an ALM Consultant with Northwest Cadence. In addition to his Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, and training skills, he has an extensive background in server technologies, ALM and project management.  He holds certifications in various technical areas, and brings a wealth of management and soft-skills experience to his engagements.  His varied technology background includes application development, network architecture and system engineering.   Over the last 15 years he has taught over 4000 students and over 300 classes.
