David LeBlanc and Michael Howard literally wrote the book on “<\/font>Writing Secure Code<\/font><\/a>”. David has also developed the SafeInt  class, a template class that performs “checked” operations on integer types (with a name like SafeInt what else would you expect). In VS2010 we decided to ship the SafeInt class in the box, so users no  longer need to go and download it separately and “install” it themselves. Ale Contenti was the main  instigator behind this decision and now that VS2010 Beat 1 has shipped, Ale and David meet with Charles from Channel 9 to talk about the class and it uses. <\/font>We hope you enjoy the video<\/font><\/a> and feel free to post any questions\/feedback on the Channel 9 site.<\/span><\/p>\n
