So I\u2019m excited to share a small upgrade that makes a big difference: <strong>Dark Mode is now supported in Cosmos DB Data Explorer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong>It just works with Azure Portal Dark Mode<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you already have <strong>Dark Mode enabled in the Azure Portal<\/strong>, <strong>Data Explorer will automatically switch to dark<\/strong> with it. No extra setup, no separate preference buried in a panel somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to switch on the on demand, you can also use the <strong>sun\/moon toggle<\/strong> in the Data Explorer header to turn Dark Mode on or off whenever you want.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PBqDLUpGmCc?si=fJwwBPTBzPMjhtcr\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong>Full screen Data Explorer note<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One thing to be aware of: <strong>full screen Data Explorer doesn\u2019t carry over your Azure Portal appearance setting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So if you\u2019re working in full screen and you <strong>switch the Cosmos DB account you\u2019re working on<\/strong>, the appearance may go back to the default. If you prefer Dark Mode there too, you can quickly flip it back using the <strong>sun\/moon toggle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dark Mode isn\u2019t just aesthetic. When you\u2019re debugging a query, scanning items, checking throughput settings, or hopping between containers, <strong>reducing glare and visual noise helps you stay in flow<\/strong>.
