So!, next week I’m gonna participate in Microsoft Innovation Days 2007 event!! (Edition in Spain).<\/P>\n

We’ll go to Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza and Sevilla. It’s gonna be a bussy week!! \ud83d\ude09<\/P>\n

We (Isabel Gomez and me) are going to make a session about Development in Longhorn Server (Windows Server 2008). We are going to show a demo  application called DinnerNow!, but basically, we’re going to talk about the following technologies:<\/P>\n

– SOA<\/STRONG> & N-Tier architecture<\/STRONG> (DinnerNow sample App)<\/P>\n

– WF<\/STRONG> (Workflow Foundation) <\/P>\n

– WPF<\/STRONG> (Windows Presentation Foundation)<\/P>\n

– WCF<\/STRONG> (Windows Communication Foundation) and focusing on MSMQ<\/STRONG> as transport protocol (scalability, async and communication assurance).<\/P>\n

– CardSpace<\/STRONG> as authentication method, focusing on CardSpace integration with Membership.<\/P>\n

– IIS 7.0<\/STRONG>, global overview, modules & handlers development and WAS<\/STRONG> hosting (for WCF Services)<\/P>\n

– PowerShell, Eventing,Management<\/P>\n

The rest of the event is about SaaS, Orcas, LINQ, ASP.NET AJAX and SILVERLIGHT.<\/P>\n
