It is a substantial upgrade from the TFS 2008 Management Pack. Among other things, we’ve added auto discovery of complex TFS server topologies and monitoring of application tiers, build machines and proxy servers. We also put more effort into this one than any previous one to make sure it provides a comprehensive view on a TFS server’s health.\nPart of what has taken so long is that, in addition to using it on our own dogfood servers, we’ve been running a pilot program with 6 customers for the last several months and continuing to refine it to ensure it does a great job. It is now ready and has been released,\nCheck it out.\nI want to provide a special mention to the Visual Studio ALM Rangers who did most of the heavy lifting to make this management pack a reality. We’re grateful for another valuable piece in the TFS puzzle.\nThis management pack will only work with TFS 2010 servers. If you want to monitor previous versions of TFS, you will need to continue to use the older version on the management pack.
