You can learn about the <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/aa833872.aspx#AdBoth\">advantages<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/aa833872.aspx\">configuring your deployment of Team Foundation Server 2010 to use HTTPS with SSL<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/aa833872.aspx#PreReq\">follow the steps<\/a> to support or require this protocol for web connections between the data, application, and client tiers.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/ee791981.aspx\">TF Proxy command<\/a><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>The TF Proxy command has two purposes, and each purpose is aimed at a different type of user. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As a developer, you can use the proxy command to configure your client to use a proxy server or to override the network defaults for a proxy server. <\/li>\n<li>As a network administrator, you can use the proxy command to add and manage records about the location of various proxy servers within your deployment of Team Foundation Server. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can read more about the command in Tim&#8217;s blog post: <b><a href=\"http:\/\/elhajj.wordpress.com\/2011\/01\/31\/what-if-using-tfs-proxy-was-as-easy-as-making-a-get\/\">What If Using TFS Proxy Was as Easy as Making a Get?<\/a> and in the <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/library\/ee791981.aspx\">MSDN topic<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h4>Planning and Tracking Projects<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant changes have been made to the content that supports defining and customizing work item type definitions. The topic node formerly titled &#8220;Work Item Type Schema Reference&#8221; has been eliminated. This feature requires that you upgrade to Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010. Several topics related to defining fields and global lists were updated to reflect this new feature.
