{"id":1841,"date":"2013-10-22T04:21:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T04:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/bharry\/2013\/10\/22\/team-foundation-service-update-oct-21\/"},"modified":"2024-03-29T13:26:49","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T20:26:49","slug":"team-foundation-service-update-oct-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/team-foundation-service-update-oct-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Team Foundation Service Update \u2013 Oct 21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/tfs.visualstudio.com\/en-us\/2013-oct-21\">news post<\/a> yesterday, you\u2019ll see that the big change in this sprint\u2019s deployment was to the project and account home pages.\u00a0 Quite honestly the account home page was mostly useless and not very visually appealing.\u00a0 One of the big things we focused on with these updates was improving the getting started experience.\u00a0 One change we made was a new \u201cCreate your first project\u201d panel on the account home page (where you land immediately after creating an account) to try to make it crystal clear what the next step to do anything useful is.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2013\/10\/6431.clip_image001_thumb_13865D94.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15849\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2013\/10\/6431.clip_image001_thumb_13865D94.jpg\" alt=\"Image 6431 clip image001 thumb 13865D94\" width=\"800\" height=\"457\" srcset=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2013\/10\/6431.clip_image001_thumb_13865D94.jpg 800w, https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2013\/10\/6431.clip_image001_thumb_13865D94-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/bharry\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2013\/10\/6431.clip_image001_thumb_13865D94-768x439.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve created a project, the create your fist project panel disappears and you see the new account home page with, among other things, a set of tiles (that are dismissable) to provide additional information about getting started with the experience.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"padding-top: 0px;
