SaaS Made Easy is now a BizSpark partner

A year or more ago, Microsoft announced a series of “Spark” programs: BizSpark, DreamSpark, … BizSpark is a program aimed at early stage startups to help provide with the resources they need (software, expertise, etc) to be successful. SaaS Made Easy has been a Microsoft partner for a while now providing hosting services for Team Foundation Server (there are others as well, for example, I blogged a while ago about free hosted TFS trials by TeamDevCentral).  SaaS Made Easy has just become a BizSpark partner and is providing inexpensive TFS hosting for all startups in the BizSpark program. If you are doing a startup, it’s a great way to get started.  I’ve done a couple of startups myself and I can remember vividly how tight money can be.  I remember have a vigorous debate with my two partners about whether or not we needed to buy a LAN (cards, hubs, cables, etc) and whether or not we could afford buying the the memory and additional disk space to expand our offering to Windows/NT when it was first being developed.  Ok, I admit it, my last startup was 1992-1994 so the technology questions have changed a lot but the budget questions have not. I definitely recommend you take a look at BizSpark and SaaS Made Easy. Here’s a link to some more info on the SaaS Made Easy offer: http://secure.saasmadeeasy.com/Web/BizSpark/Pages/default.aspx
