With NPM, you can detect network issues before your users complain. Key advantages are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Monitor loss and latency across various subnet<\/span><span>s and set alerts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Monitor all paths (including redundant paths) on the network<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoot transient &amp; point-in-time network issues, that are difficult to replicate<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Determine the specific segment on the <\/span><span>network,\u00a0 that<\/span><span> is responsible for degraded performance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Monitor the health of the network, with<\/span><span>out<\/span><span> the need for SNMP<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"715\" height=\"264\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7725\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2019\/03\/NPM-1-Finalized.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span>Getting Started<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span>To start using <\/span><span>NPM, you<\/span><span> will need to install (software) agents, at various locations<\/span><span> (VMs)<\/span><span> on the network.
