{"id":5416,"date":"2017-03-16T12:30:58","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T16:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/azuregov\/?p=5416"},"modified":"2017-03-16T12:30:58","modified_gmt":"2017-03-16T16:30:58","slug":"announcing-dsv2-series-and-fs-series-vms-for-azure-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/azuregov\/announcing-dsv2-series-and-fs-series-vms-for-azure-government\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing DSv2-Series and Fs-Series VMs in US Gov Virginia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce the general availability of <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/virtual-machines\/virtual-machines-windows-sizes#dsv2-series\">DSv2-Series<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/azure\/virtual-machines\/virtual-machines-windows-sizes#fs-series\">Fs-Series<\/a>\u00a0(not to be confused with <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.msdn.microsoft.com\/azuregov\/2016\/09\/19\/azure-government-adding-f-series-vms-to-usgov-iowa\/\">F-series<\/a>)\u00a0virtual machines in US Gov Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>DSv2-series and Fs-series VMs can use Premium Storage, which provides high-performance, low-latency storage for Input\/Output intensive workloads.
