During this Meetup, we will explore some of the ways IoT is being used across <\/span><\/span>various<\/span><\/span> industries today, with a <\/span><\/span>focus<\/span><\/span> on public sector. You will hear about newly availa<\/span><\/span>ble technologies and technology patterns that are enabling the next generation of organizational transformations.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

IoT is part of what some are calling the fourth industrial revolution; changing the way we live and work. For organizations, IoT provides opportunities to increase their return on investment by decreasing costs and increasing returns in existing operations, while delivering value and new services to citizens.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to Kevin, <\/span><\/span>Yared<\/span><\/span> Tsegaye<\/span><\/span>, senior software engineer at Applied Information Services will showcase an innovative <\/span><\/span>IoT<\/span><\/span> demo<\/span><\/span> with <\/span><\/span>Azure <\/span><\/span>Io<\/span><\/span>T<\/span><\/span> Hub, R, Azure ML and Power BI. <\/span><\/span>Ryan <\/span><\/span>Socal<\/span><\/span>, senior program manager with the Microsoft Azure Government team, will also\u00a0provide a preview of the new Azure Government documentation program.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
