\u201cDevSecOps might be the most important thing that\u2019s happened to security in the past 40 years,\u201d said Ron Ross, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fellow, during a virtual Microsoft Azure Government meetup on May 27 to an audience of nearly 200 attendees.<\/p>\n

Ross along with CDR Thomas Sampson of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Zach Kramer of Microsoft Azure Government Engineering shared insights on various challenges, best practices, strategies and benefits for agencies to adopt DevSecOps in government. Some dynamic demos and presentations were also featured during the meetup with Microsoft\u2019s Nirali Shah demoing OpenShift in a hardened Zero Trust Azure environment<\/em>; while Anchore, Inc.\u2019s James Peterson and CloudFit Software\u2019s Carroll Moon presented DevSecOps at full speed<\/em>.<\/p>\n
