Today, at the Microsoft Government Tech Summit, we announced <\/span>that <\/span>Frame<\/a> is available in Azure Government.\u00a0Frame enables our customers to deploy a secure Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) capability without the high cost of on-premises Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)<\/span>;<\/span> and Frame Government Edition enhances that capability <\/span>with <\/span>the ability to deploy to the government cloud with the leading number of security accreditation<\/span>s \u2013 Microsoft <\/span>Azure<\/span> <\/span>Government.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Frame customers will just need a web browser to utilize graphics intensive applications hosted in Azure Government and backed by our NV series virtual machines. An expensive high-end workstation is no longer required. Customers can also simplify the user experience <\/span>by adding Frame applications to a user\u2019s Office 365 app launcher<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jason Holloway, <\/span><\/em>h<\/span>ead of Public Sector for Frame, said,<\/span><\/span><\/em> “Frame Platform Government Edition provides an enterprise-ready virtualization solution that makes it easy to migrate and manage Windows desktop applications in the cloud. Making the Frame platform available on Azure Government represents a major milestone in the journey to bring our market<\/span><\/em>–<\/span>leading commercial platform to the public sector.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
