Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotic processing automation continues to create buzz throughout many industries and government is no exception. The US federal government budget for fiscal year 2020 calls on agencies to adopt emerging technologies to better empower their workforce, and accelerate and innovate public services.
Key to moving forward is the ability for agencies to define emerging tech use cases and get started with piloting new ideas. Roadblocks can include limitations with budget, procurement process, and skills required to deploy these technologies.
