Announcing general availability of Azure API Management in Microsoft Azure Government

We are pleased to announce that Azure API Management is now generally available in Microsoft Azure Government.

API Management is a turnkey, full-lifecycle solution for publishing APIs to external and internal consumers. Customers use API Management to quickly create consistent and modern API gateways for existing back-end services hosted anywhere. API Management helps you secure and protect APIs and provides insights into API usage and health.

API Management is critical for organizations who are working to:

• Embrace digital transformation and achieve efficiency and agility by using APIs internally and externally • Make existing services and data available to partners and citizens • Grant mobile and web apps access to critical systems while protecting them with authentication, rate limiting, and quotas
