Mobile Center Supports Windows UWP Platform

Visual Studio App Center

Visual Studio Mobile Center is now Visual Studio App Center. Learn more here.   You heard it right. Mobile Center now supports variety of services to help streamline your Windows UWP app development.

Once your application in added in Mobile Center, you can set it up in the Build service where we will automatically build your app every time a commit happens in the configured branch. After every successful build off that branch, you can automatically distribute the package to a group of users by selecting “Distribute builds” option while configuring. Setting up Build service in Mobile Center takes few minutes if you code is hosted in Visual Studio Team Services, GitHub or BitBucket.

Build service in Mobile Center portal

Distributing your app to a group of beta testers or external users has never been so easy. Just upload the appx, appxbundle or zip file in Mobile Center, select the right distribution group and we will notify users via email to install the app on their devices.

Integrate Mobile Center Analytics and Crashes SDK in your app and get rich analytics and insights about your app users out of the box. You can see detailed crash reports of all the pesky crashes that your users are experiencing. This way, you can monitor your app to understand the user behavior and fix issues to release stable crash free versions of the app. We are working to enable the Crashes service in Mobile Center portal in the coming weeks.

Rich Data from Analytics Service

Push service lets you directly communicate and engage with your app users. After you integrate Mobile Center Push SDK and register your app with Windows Notification Services, you can easily send targeted push notifications to your users from Mobile Center portal.
